How to Play Dama Quest
Based on historical three-stone alignment games (Three Men's Morris, Tapatan, and traditional Dama), the rules are quick to pick up in seconds but full of clever strategic depth!

Phase 2: The Slide Phase
Once all stones are placed, the maneuver begins! On your turn, choose one of your pieces and slide it along an adjacent line into a directly connected empty circle.

Two Ways to Win!
1. Line Up 3: Align your 3 pieces in a straight line (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
2. The Island Trap: Block all paths so your opponent has zero legal slides left!
The Island Grid Topology
The battlefield consists of 9 interconnected intersections and 8 possible winning lines (3 horizontal rows, 3 vertical columns, and 2 central diagonals).
Unlike simple Tic-Tac-Toe where the game ends after placing symbols, Dama Quest begins its true mind-game in Phase 2 when pieces slide dynamically along the paths!
The Center Pivot (Blue)
Connects to all 8 surrounding circles. Controlling it offers maximum flexibility.
The 4 Corner Positions
Connects to 3 neighbors (horizontal, vertical, and diagonal).
The 4 Edge Positions
Connects to 3 neighbors (2 adjacent edges and the center).
The Trap Condition
If a player has no empty adjacent spots to slide into, they forfeit the match!

- Command the Center: The center circle has 8 paths of movement. Securing or contesting it in Phase 1 provides massive board control.
- Beware the Double Threat: Position your stones so you threaten two winning lines simultaneously. When your opponent blocks one, you win with the other.
- Corner Pinning: You can win without a 3-in-a-row by suffocating your rival's pieces against the board boundaries until they are paralyzed.
